Consuming wheatgrass juice 

Wheatgrass juice need to be consumed in the morning, on empty stomach, ideally right after juicing.
After consuming wheatgrass juice, do not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes.

Recommended daily dose of wheatgrass juice is from 15ml-60ml.

Daily dose should be consumed dissolved in one glass of water. Use low mineral water without chlorine.

Some people had side effects in the beginning of use of wheatgrass juice as nausea. The reason for this cold be high concentrated nutrition on empty stomach, so it is recommended to start with 15ml daily until you adapt, and than to increase to gradually your daily dose. 


Nutritional benefits

Wheatgrass is a good source of potassium, a very good source of dietary fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E (alpha tocopherol), vitamin K, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, pantothenic acid, iron, zinc, copper, manganese and selenium, and has negligible amount of protein (less than one gram per 28 grams). 

It also contains very important live enzymes.

Health benefits

Wheatgrass juice is very often use as aid to promote your health. It:

  • Increases red blood-cell count; cleanses the blood, organs and gastrointestinal tract; simulates metabolism
  • Stimulates your thyroid gland
  • Reduces over-acidity in your blood and relieve peptic ulcers, ulcerative colitis, constipation, diarrhea, and other gastrointestinal complaints
  • Detoxifies your liver and blood and chemically neutralizes environmental pollutants
  • Its high chlorophyll content may help oxygenate your blood. 
  • May help reduce damaging effects of radiation, courtesy of the enzyme SOD—an anti-inflammatory compound

Other claims are that it is good for any detoxification, regulates blood pressure, lowers cholesterol, return natural hair color by reducing graying, and give overall good healthy feeling among consumers. 

There are also serious claims that wheatgrass juice is very beneficial in cancer treatments.  (not confirmed by official medical science)
